HOME / QUALITY & TESTING

Every unit passes the same seven gates.

Power supply quality control at VoltFab is a fixed sequence, not a slogan: IQC, SPI, AOI, X-Ray, hi-pot, functional test and 100% burn-in — each gate writing to the unit's serial record under an ISO 9001 quality system.

QC GATES

Seven gates, one serial record.

Sampling rate, pass criteria and the equipment behind every verdict — the table our auditors ask for first.

END-OF-LINE TEST

The fixture unlocks burn-in — nothing else does.

At the end-of-line benches every finished unit runs its programmed sequence: output rails under load, protection trip points, telemetry polling over PMBus or SNMP, and metering checks against the ±1% billing-grade claim on PDUs. A pass verdict opens the burn-in slot; a fail locks the serial into the rework loop with the failure log attached. The sequence is enforced by the fixture, so no unit can reach the aging room untested.

TEST & INSPECTION EQUIPMENT

The instruments behind the gates.

MENTO MT2000 AOI machine inspecting a finished panel

MENTO MT2000 AOI

Optical gate on all seven SMT lines with Class III component, polarity and solder-joint libraries; defect images archived per lot.

FAI830 first-article inspection station measuring a power board

FAI830 first article

Dimensional and BOM verification of the first panel at every changeover — the lot waits until the first article is signed off.

Hi-pot dielectric withstand tester with ground bond bench

Hi-pot & ground bond

100% dielectric withstand testing to IEC 62368-1 limits; leakage current and ground-bond resistance are logged against each serial.

Burn-in aging room racks running units at full load

Burn-in aging room

Full-load, elevated-temperature aging with zero-defect exit criteria — the last gate, and the reason our DOA rate stays nameplate-low.

CERTIFICATION

Compliance by type, evidence on request.

We publish certification types, not scanned certificates — original system certificates and test documentation are shared with qualified buyers under NDA.

SYSTEM CERTIFICATE · NDA

ISO 9001 quality system

The floor operates under an ISO 9001-certified quality management system covering SMT, assembly, test and burn-in. The system certificate is available to qualified buyers under NDA.

DECLARATION · TECHNICAL FILE

CE marking

Shipped programs carry CE compliance for the applicable EMC and safety directives, with the technical file maintained per product family and updated at each hardware revision.

MATERIALS · PER LOT

RoHS / REACH

Materials compliance is controlled from IQC outward: RoHS and REACH declarations are collected per component lot and bundled into the shipment dossier for your market's review.

CERTIFICATION PATH

UL 62368-1 path

PDU and PSU platforms are engineered on a UL 62368-1 certification path — creepage, clearance and fire-envelope rules are design inputs, and type-test evidence is assembled as compliance-ready packages supporting your listing submittal.

CERTIFICATION PATH

UL 857 · IEC 61439-6 path

The busway line follows a UL 857 and IEC 61439-6 type-test path: 100% factory pretest on tap-off boxes, routine dielectric tests per run, and documentation prepared for third-party witnessing.

TRANSPORT · EXPORT

UN38.3 document chain

Lithium lines ship on a UN38.3 document chain — cell-level test summaries, MSDS and packing instructions PI965 / PI966 — so BBU programs clear export and air-freight review without stalling the schedule.

FAQ

Quality questions buyers ask first.

Can we inspect or audit goods before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV or your appointed agency) is welcome at pack-out, and factory audits can be scheduled while production is running. For remote programs we run a live video walk-through of the burn-in exit and send the per-serial QC records with the shipment.
What test documentation comes with an order?
Every shipment carries its QC dossier: an FAI first-article report per lot, AOI and X-Ray batch results, hi-pot and functional test logs keyed to serial numbers, and burn-in exit records. System certificates — ISO 9001, CE declarations, RoHS — are shared with qualified buyers under NDA.
What is VoltFab's actual certification status?
We are transparent by type: the floor operates an ISO 9001 quality system, and shipped programs carry CE and RoHS compliance. For UL 62368-1 and UL 857 / IEC 61439-6 we work on explicit certification paths with compliance-ready evidence packages — we do not advertise certificate scans, and we do not claim listings we have not completed.
