WHY ONE FACTORY

Interface risk does not survive a single QA file.

Multi-vendor racks fail at the seams: PDU firmware the shelf manager cannot poll, BBU CAN frames the PSU telemetry ignores, tap ratings the PDU inlet never anticipated. When one factory owns busway, PDU, PSU, BBU and supercapacitor, those seams become internal hand-offs. Joint commissioning runs on our floor before a crate opens on yours, and lead times move together instead of lining up serially behind the slowest vendor.

COMMISSIONING DETAIL

One test record follows the chain.

A pilot integrated rack leaves with system-level evidence: busway tap temperature-rise data, PDU metering accuracy against reference, PSU burn-in logs, BBU bridging capture under real load steps. When the same chain later needs a firmware poll or a spare, there is exactly one serial range and one supplier to call — not four warranties pointing at each other.

FAQ

Integration questions we hear most.

How do you work with our system integrator or electrical contractor?
The scope splits at the busway tap. VoltFab owns the rack-internal power chain — busway run, PDUs, power shelves, BBU and supercapacitor — and hands your contractor interface drawings, test records and commissioning data. The contractor retains the service entrance and facility-side distribution. No one's license or liability is stepped on.
Where does VoltFab's responsibility start and stop?
It starts at the busway tap-off and ends at the PDU outlet plus its telemetry API. Within that span one warranty, one QA file and one escalation path cover busway, PDU, PSU, BBU and supercapacitor — the boundary is written into the order, not discovered during an incident.
Can we buy only part of the chain?
Yes. Every product line sells standalone to integrators and operators. Bundling adds the things partial orders cannot get: joint commissioning on the factory floor before shipment and lead times synchronized across the chain instead of arriving serially.
What does a pilot integrated rack program look like?
RFQ to 48-hour DFM feedback, then a pilot rack that passes type tests and burn-in as a system rather than as parts, then mass production. Whenever BBU modules are in the build, UN38.3 export documentation ships with them — and the pilot's test record becomes the acceptance baseline.
