POWER SYSTEMS / INTEGRATED RACK POWER
One Rack. One Factory. Every Volt.
The complete data center power system as a single deliverable: overhead busway, rack PDU, CRPS power shelves, BBU and supercapacitor engineered together, tested together and warrantied by one factory — from the 800VDC feed down to outlet-level metering.
SYSTEM SHEET
| Rack power | Up to 142 kW NVL72-class |
|---|---|
| Primary feed | 800VDC / 415V interface |
| Distribution | Busway 160–800A → rack PDU |
| Conversion | CRPS shelves · 96% Titanium |
| Buffer | BBU 51.2V LFP + supercap LIC |
| Metering | ±1% billing-grade at outlet |
| Accountability | One factory · one QA file |
POWER CHAIN, LAYER BY LAYER
Every layer owned or interfaced.
An integrated rack power system is only as strong as its weakest seam. This is the full chain for a 142 kW-class AI rack, with VoltFab's build scope marked line by line.
| Layer | Typical level | VoltFab scope |
|---|---|---|
| Utility & feeder intake | MV/LV service, generators | Interface — coordinated with your electrical contractor |
| Primary feed | 800VDC / 415V 3φ | Interface — feeder busway to 6300A available |
| Overhead busway | 160–800A tap-off runs | VoltFab builds — UL 857 / IEC 61439-6 |
| Rack PDU | 16–63A · ±1% metering | VoltFab builds — OEM outlet maps |
| Conversion & buffer | CRPS 96% Ti · BBU 51.2V LFP · 48V supercap | VoltFab builds all three, shelf-integrated |
| IT load | Outlet-level metering & switching | Scope ends at the outlet — telemetry continues via API |

WHY ONE FACTORY
Interface risk does not survive a single QA file.
Multi-vendor racks fail at the seams: PDU firmware the shelf manager cannot poll, BBU CAN frames the PSU telemetry ignores, tap ratings the PDU inlet never anticipated. When one factory owns busway, PDU, PSU, BBU and supercapacitor, those seams become internal hand-offs. Joint commissioning runs on our floor before a crate opens on yours, and lead times move together instead of lining up serially behind the slowest vendor.
THE FOUR BUILDING BLOCKS
Specified together, shipped together.

Overhead Busway
160–800A open-channel track, UL 857 at 600V, IEC 61439-6 type-tested, tool-free tap-offs from 80–400A with per-tap metering.
Explore Busway →
Smart Rack PDU
Five tiers from Basic to Switched+Outlet, ±1% billing-grade metering, 3φ to 22kW+, SNMPv3 / Modbus TCP / Redfish.
Explore Rack PDU →
BBU + Supercapacitor
Dual-layer buffering: 51.2V LFP bridging across the genset window, hybrid LIC absorbing millisecond transients — UL 1973 / 9540A, UN38.3.

CRPS Power Shelves
550W–5.5kW+ modules at 96% Titanium efficiency, 54V direct-to-rail for GPU racks, N+N hot-swap, 100% burn-in.

COMMISSIONING DETAIL
One test record follows the chain.
A pilot integrated rack leaves with system-level evidence: busway tap temperature-rise data, PDU metering accuracy against reference, PSU burn-in logs, BBU bridging capture under real load steps. When the same chain later needs a firmware poll or a spare, there is exactly one serial range and one supplier to call — not four warranties pointing at each other.
